OSCAR safeguarding for managers, owners and senior staff

Serving as new or refresher safeguarding and child protection learning, this workshop explores all aspects of OSCAR safeguarding for those who have a leadership role and who may have to respond to child safety concerns. It explores all aspects of OSCAR Safeguarding from an organisational perspective.  It follows the same topics as the course we offer for on-the-floor staff and so promotes a shared understanding and consistent practices.

• Recognising vulnerable children

• Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and impacts on development, health, and well-being

• Different types of harm, categories and possible indicators of abuse

• Disclosures and how to respond safely

• Reporting, referring and recording concerns

• Allegations against staff- Safe practices when working with children

• Promoting a safeguarding culture in your programme and organisation

This course is only available as a webinar.

Cost: $55.00 per person for OSCN members ($50-00 per person if 3 or more people attending) $90.00 per person for non-members

No payment is required for initial registration or a booking enquiry. Confirmation and more details of the course are sent by email, once a booking has been made. We only charge for actual attendance at our courses.
